Since 20th February 2017, Kinamo may call itself an ISO9001:2015 certified company. In 2020 we will continue the certification trajectory and aim for an ISO 27001 certification.
Thanks to the ISO9001 standard we have highlighted our commitment to quality. With the ISO27001 standard, we also wish to highlight our efforts in the field of IT security.
ISO9001 is a worldwide recognized standard for quality management. Enterprises using this quality system aim for continuous improvement of products and services.
Maintaining this standard is linked to a permanent audit scheme: our services are audited at least twice a year by an official quality agency.
A personal and custom approach are the two foundations on which Kinamo builds. Every day we strive to offer the best possible service to our customers. Focusing on permanent evolution ensures that we always meet the expectations and needs of our customers.

One of the examples of the quality system in practice is the fact that we try to answer all support tickets within one working day. The average response time of a support request at Kinamo is therefore between 1 and 4 hours.
Since a few months, we have also added a rating system to our support. When finalizing a support ticket, a customer may choose to share his experience with us.
Since activating the scoring system, we have had an average positive rating of 98%. Our customers’ reactions to the rating system are very positive. We get a lot of valuable input from the feedback from our customers, so we can evolve and improve our service offering.
In 2020 Kinamo will go for ISO27001 certification
The ISO27001 standard (officially ISO / IEC 27001) is an internationally recognized standard in the field of information security.
Security is a very important metric for Kinamo. In addition to the physical security of our datacenter facilities as well as the necessary hardware security processes, we also monitor software security updates. Every day we process new patches and security updates which are handled immediately if necessary. We also have periodic consultation moments during which we discuss and implement updates and security adjustments.
To achieve the ISO 27001 certification, thorough preparation, reviews and internal and external audits are required.
The certification is not achieved in a few steps. We have been mapping our most important processes for a few months now. ISO9001 certification naturally helps!
By obtaining an ISO 27001 certification, we want to highlight that Kinamo meets all requirements in terms of addressing information security risks. With this, we hope to further meet the demands regarding the quality and information security of our customers.
